Silver at $6.18, Has Anything Changed?
September 14, 2004

Hi, this is Jennifer again from the Discount Silver Club. I hope you survived Hurricane Frances without too much damage. If we're lucky, Hurricane Ivan will weaken before striking the Gulf Coast. I hope everyone's prepared for Ivan in the Southeast!

Silver at $6.18, Has Anything Changed?

I was looking at the silver spot charts, and I noticed silver is at the same level it was in mid-January. Silver has historically increased in value during hard times, so its low price should indicate that the country is financially healthy. I decided to look back at 2004 to see if our economy is heading in the right direction.

Despite assurances from the Federal Reserve that our economy is strong, I find many areas of concern. Oil prices have spiked recently, and are now up over 30% this year. Corporations such as Delta, Nortel, EDS, Sony, and Bank of America have announced major layoffs recently. Both the Dow Jones and NASDAQ are down in 2004. The US trade deficit has increased 16.4% this year alone! It's now reached $50.15 billion, the second highest imbalance on record. In most of America, people pay more for a house, and more for a mortgage payment then they did last year. Iraq continues to strain the military budget as the guerrilla resistance intensifies, and American involvement will not end anytime soon.

Due to the market manipulation, precious metals can't perform their traditional function of warning about a weak economy. Take advantage of the suppressed silver prices, and grab some financial security. Convert some of your underperforming assets to silver. Ask us to show you how a monthly budget can save you money.
